I have spent the last few weeks watching videos on Readers and eInk displays. I have a Kindle Scribe coming and today I have just ordered the Remarkable Paper Pro. A very expensive device and between the two that’s over 1k I have spent in a couple of purchases.
I am banking a lot on 2025 and my ability to take writing seriously. I hope building my life around devices like these will help.
I keep seesawing from the Sci-fi idea in the 13th Earth series and finishing my Fantasy novel Rise of the Fallen. I am looking forward to getting something done and then maybe splitting the focus to a new story and putting in the work to get a manuscript ready for submission.
I really don’t want to make this a new year new blah blah. But I was 47 yesterday and there comes a point where I am either going to do this or I am not. and given the choice I would like to get something finished and then try and get it published.
For now, it’s time for bed. Day off today but back to work tomorrow. Need to put in some extra time at work to get cracking with my training. New job so need to get sorted so I can be useful.
