It’s not really surprising but the government is preempting the release of Google Glass in the UK by banning people from wearing them.
Not really surprising given how distracting it would be having images or anything playing across your vision while driving. I t would cause some crazy crashes sooner or later, I would have to get behind this one.
On the flip side I “debate” with my dad when I ring him from my car using a hands free. His opinion is that they are a distraction and shouldn’t be used while driving. I always counter with, when I am using it to be on the phone with him, I have both hands on the wheel and am watching the road at all times. When you are in a car with a passenger, you frequently glance their way when talking, so I think hands free causes less of a distraction than having people in your car.
