I know where I sit, I have tried for many years of NaNo Pantsing. this is where you just sit and type, see where the story takes you. Although I found that this was not for me. I would start well and generally I always know how a story is going to end, but I haven’t a clue how to get there. So, I am not a Pantser.
Plotting is the way forward, I think the way I work I will do better if I have a good idea of wher eI am going to go with the story and the twists along the way. Because of this I have started plotting or outlining for the NaNo challenge. I am to know wher eI am going before I start writing this year. Should make the journey allot easier.
To try and get me ready I am currently trying to quickly read through “Outlining your novel, Map your way to success” I bought this a while ago and am working my way through it to see if it can offer me any gems for the plotting I am currently in the process of doing for NaNo.
I will let you know how I get on wit the book, I am currently reading about what kind of tool to use for outlining. I am reading about using Mind Maps at the moment.
I can feel a routine setting in… I can feel change coming, I can feel my writers journey progressing.
