This weekend is Tough Guy Nettle Warrior, the twice yearly race that separates the men (Tough Guy) from the boys (Tough Mudder)
I look forward to marshalling this race, and spending time with the people down there. Not just because of the chance to play with cameras and get some amazing pictures, but I get to spend time with some amazing people.
The family that created Tough Guy and continue to fight the good fight in the midst of a boom of mud runs etc, they are trying to keep the original and the best going in some tough times. So big Thanks to Billy, Celia, Will and Verity for keeping the race going for so long and giving me some amazing times over the years.
Down at the farm we have the “spacial forces” this is the group of like minded people that come down to help out, check the course, provide ideas and marshal the race. These people are the salt of the earth and I love spending time with them. Although an extremely busy weekend the race weekends are great and the atmosphere is amazing, the difference in people that come down to do the races is striking and some of the characters make it worth while.
I will do another article after the weekend and include some of the pictures that I will no doubt take.
