I miss the good old days when there was a local cafe that you could go in and get normal English food, for a reasonable price.
Today these cafes like to think they are something they are not.
The town I live in isn’t that big and yet it has a rediculus amount of charity shops, bakers, butchers and cafes, it’s daft the choice we have.
Then when you do get in one they are full of posh looking sandwiches that cost twice what they should and are served on posh little plates with random bits of salad to make it look clever….
Does my head in. Where are the traditional cafes.. A full English in this one is £7 😦
Anyway, my food will be here soon so I best stop complaining.
