While cataloguing my books I noticed one called Wizard at Large by Terry Brooks, I read the synopsis and really liked the sound of it, but as it always seems to happen it seems that was in the middle of a series. I looked them up online and found them all on Amazon. I ordered them all and when the first one came (Magic Kingdom for Sale) I started reading.
It’s been a while since a book pulled me in so fast, from starting the book I was hooked and I was 3/4 in after two days. Finished after 3. I really like the world that Terry Brooks has built, starting in the “real” world and moving into the new work of Landover where beings from myth here on Earth exist. He has done a great job of building interesting characters and a fantastical world that draws you in.
I was saying the other day that I wanted to read more as my “to read” pile is getting bigger and bigger and It is not going to take me long to finish reading this book. I hope that the rest of the series are as good.
